Born from the Cracks
In 2020, the world stopped — and people were forced to live inside the homes they'd been ignoring. The pandemic revealed every crack: the kitchen that bottlenecked a family of four, the home office carved out of a closet, the living room that never actually felt like living.
Monty Virk saw what others missed. The problem wasn't bad construction — it was the absence of intent. Homes were being built to specifications, not to visions. Contractors were answering the "what" but no one was asking the "why."
PrimeStone was founded in North Carolina's Research Triangle to bridge the gap between standard construction and visionary living. Not by being louder or cheaper — but by being more thoughtful. By asking better questions. By refusing to break ground until the design earned the right to exist.
